L&H Boats’ composites are designed to be both strong and light. Because they have very high strength-to-weight ratios, our composites are the preferred material for applications where weight is paramount. Lighter boats use less fuel. Plus, design changes are readily made with this method and you can rest assured that L&H Boats’ skilled operators provide consistent quality.
Engines
Boat engines take many shapes, sizes, and forms, ranging from the common outboard to rarely seen surface drive systems. L&H Boats works with a variety of power boat engines, both inboard and outboard. We’ll sort through the many different options available to you. Which is best for the type of boating you most enjoy? You may want to know if newer technology is always better. Or, you might prefer to stay with the tried and true, We will work through the process with you.
Electronics
You may want the ultimate fishing package that offers everything, however, you can start with the basics of a chart plotter, high-powered bird-finding radar and TruEcho CHIRP fish finder. From there, you add in the DFF3D multibeam sonar, which gives you 120 degrees port to starboard of 3D sounding images. Then add in the new NavPilot 300 autopilot and combine that with a satellite compass to give the best possible position fix, creating incredible accuracy for the autopilot and radar overlays.
Storage
Every boat has such unique space restrictions that finding and fitting the ideal storage compartments can be daunting. Accessories parts such as tackle boxes can be equally challenging. As boat builders, begin the thought process by photographing and documenting the space that will contain the various storage compartments. We often build our storage compartments to order which allows us to match boater's gel coat colors as an added benefit!
